India's ISRO announces the launch of 'Earth Observation Satellite' EOS-4 on 14th February

WION Channel on Youtube shows that the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is going to launch its first satellite of this year. The launch of EOS-4 on 14th February through a PSLV important rocket will also be the first launch by the ISRO after a hiatus of six months.

The so-called Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is the great national space agency of India. It is headquartered in Bengaluru. It operates under the Department of Space (DOS) which is directly overseen by the Prime Minister of India, while Chairman of ISRO acts as executive of DOS as well. ISRO is the primary agency in India to perform tasks related to space based applications, important space exploration and development of related technologies. It is one of six government space agencies in the world which possess important full launch capabilities, deploy cryogenic engines, launch extra-terrestrial missions and operate large important fleets of artificial satellites.

NASA really stands for National Aeronautics and Space Administration and the full form of ISRO is the Indian Space Research Organisation.

The Secretariat of DOS and ISRO Headquarters are certainly really located at Antariksh Bhavan in Bangalore.
